PARKINSON'S DISEASE

Introduction: Parkinson's disease, PD is the neurodegenerative disorder that causes slowed movements, tremors, stiffness, and various other symptoms. The term refers to the neurodegenerative degeneration and death of nerve cells, the type of cells in the human brain and are responsible for supervising all activities in the brain. This occurs when neurons degenerate and die desease or nerve cells in the brain known as the substantia nigra or part. The brain of the usual routine control of the movements are concerned if these cells are lost, and the results are in the person experiencing slow movements, stiffness and strength or partial facial paralysis, weakness and tremors.


Causes and symptoms: The exact cause of this disease is still unknown. Some other factors include welding and exposure to manganese or environmental toxins. Orthostatic hypotension, or loss of blood pressure in standing posture causes dizziness and seizures, painful foot cramps, Micrographia or reduced handwriting, decreased volume of voice, decreased facial expression, excess sweating, constipation, smell problems, impotence, salivating, insomnia, depression, anxiety, panic phobias and late stage dementia are some other symptoms of this disease.

Diagnosis: With the help of proper neurological examinations, tests movements, coordination, reflexes, and some other functionality, could be diagnosed with this disease.

Treatment: Although there is no proven specific treatment plans not to be effective on this disease, some research studies suggest that coenzyme Q10 can be little relief for this desease. Levodopa is the best medicine, spare dopamine deficiency in the brain. It is also claimed that two drugs are to treat the disease Selegiline and dopamine agonists, which help slow the disease activity to some degree, but that is not yet open. However, for the treatment of the disease is complex for several reasons. The PD is a progressive disease getting worse over time so that the drugs and doses, the better effect in the early phase of the desease to be less effective in the later phase. Brain surgery is also an ideal way to treat in advanced stages of Parkinson's disease.
