Introduction: Fifth disease is a mild childhood illness caused by human parvovirus B19, that results in rashes on the cheeks, arms and legs. The disease is also known as slapped Parvovirus B-19, erythema infectiosum or cheek. It's called Fifth disease, as was fifth in series Place on the list of common childhood complaints, which are usually accompanied by the eruptions such as measles, rubella / German measles, scarlet / scarlet and scarlatinella - a kind of scarlet fever.
