The basis of aromatherapy are essential oils derived from plants such as chamomile, thyme, jasmine and sandalwood. These are included in more than 2,000 approved drugs, cosmetic preparations and foodstuffs. They are freely available from any application. There are two types of aromatherapy.

The complementary Aroma therapy is based on the notion that bring essential oils body and soul. By applying oils to the healing powers of the body are stimulated and diseases can be treated.

The scientifically defined Aroma therapy is based on an effect of inhaled oils as a result of odor perception. In addition, should the ingredients pass through the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract into the blood and thus influence functions and organs of the body
