Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is an independent medical system that includes both diagnostic techniques and various forms of therapy. Medicine and traditional Chinese medicine have not ruled out - but they can complement each other.

The term "Traditional Chinese medicine, this type of treatment exists in the middle of the 20th Century. The methods of TCM are however based on centuries-old experience and principles. TCM has its origins as early as the Stone Age, which were already used naturopathy and acupuncture. The Five Element theory is rooted in the teachings of Confucius.

Meanwhile, the TCM is also widespread in the West as a healing process. In addition to the acupuncture traditional Chinese medicine, the therapy involves using natural products (drug therapy), massage, meditation, muscle relaxation and nutrition.
