Malignant (malignant) growths - that cancer - are made of abnormal cells that look different share than "normal" cells, differently and faster, thereby destroying the healthy tissue. They wander from their place of origin from the blood or increase the lymphatic system to other organs and there are more than secondary tumors (metastases).

There are two groups of malignant neoplasms:

* solid, so solid and hard tumors:
o cancers arise from epithelial cells degenerate, the "cover cells"of the skin, mucous membrane of glands and cells.
o sarcoma arising from:
+ as degenerated connective tissue fibrosarcomas
+ from muscle cells as Myosarkome
+ as from fat cells liposarcomas
+ inter alia as osteosarcoma cells from bone
* malignant hemoblastoses, e.g. Leukemia. They arise from the cellular components of blood and blood-forming organs.
